This is a quote by Reid Hoffman, Founder of LinkedIn.
You know there is very many written books about how to make million dollars startup ideas, but very few books on how to write a good strategy for implementation of ideas. So by years, I understand that is more important to focus on how things are done and to execute them very professional, than on generating a lot of useless ideas.
Now I have a habit to throw away anything I don’t use today. I don’t want my focus to be distracted I only need to have in front of me 5 things to focus on. In our days we have by default a lot of things that demand our attention and at the same time a lot of situations that need urgent our attention.
Sometimes I dream to have a monk stability and achieve zen. Definitely in our life is way more important to have less than to have more. Invest in achieving a high speed of qualitative execution is a good way to find a lot of strategies that work and that doesn’t. With experience, we can from the start to plan a strategy with greater success rate, but from start, our rate is zero and by default, we should fail.
If we fail more, we achieve more experience and we are motivated to plan better strategies.
