The day of tomorrow

How deep should you go with your learning process? As deep, as it sustains you to stay alive and to deal with the challenges you face. You know what? The problems are never-ending so far, maybe in the future people will live otherwise, but now we face daily new challenges. I always was in search of something that can give me the knowledge to guide me many years ahead, and I couldn’t find that in superficial books, so I searched for something different.

Go for books written by Victor Frankl, Stephen Covey, Carl Jung, Jordan Peterson, and more.

Our history can teach us how to deal with the future, and this idea was bizarre for me. It’s not that what happened can directly show us the future, but it can make us understand what we are capable and to understand how wrong we can be.

Knowing what could be wrong gives you the chance to plan for the best.
If you think that you made good progress in your learning, then you stopped, and you need to find new ways to expand your horizons.

New Alexandria

Do you the idea of how many books were written?
The Google says that we have around 130 mil books published by 2010 so we can suppose that today we have no more than 200 mil books.

So, can we speak about the fact that we lack the information and knowledge to grow? Definitely, no.

Information is more than we can absorb and its good to develop skills to ignore the distractions and to find the contributors. For this, to work you need to know and understand yourself. Your needs are different, and only you can know what books you need to read next. There could be an infinite list of books to read in a lifetime, but it’s not 100% sure that you will enjoy most of them.

I try to choose books accordingly to my current lack of information or continuously improving my database of knowledge in different fields, as following: design, parenting, workouts, stretching, marketing, events, human behaviors, psychology, etc.

Understand what you need to know and what will lead you to succeed and push forward in that direction.

The days are long, but the years are short. So its no need to hope that someday you will be less distracted, or you will have more time, or even, the information and knowledge that you need will not be anymore requested.

Where do great ideas come?

Creativity is a mix of all the information that we found in our way. The brain creates the connection based on our experiences, lectures, knowledge, and feelings.

The more you experience, the more connection you can create.

The way of creation is a limitless way of life and thinking that gives the chance of an idea to exist. There is no correct or lousy way for creativity; it’s the conscience that snaps you and provides direction. Based on that you go further and make discoveries that you never know.

An important fact is that we should learn from wrong experiments and try to improve any successes we achieved. With time we elaborate an intuition that can filter the right ideas. In sum, it’s only us that decide when to stop and where is the limit of our creativity.

As I know, we have a life to live, and we should give more of good things to this world if not those that are evil will not see a good example of change.

Create, experience, read, travel, share more and your creativity will increase.

Books of 2017

In 2017 I was lazy and I read only a few books.

For me, those books were very important in all different forms. I had a lot of questions about stretching, anatomy, physical conditioning, body limits, forms of aggression, how to control bad energy, how to deal and meet your dark side, how to choose a career, how to master words, personal efficiency.

I still have more questions that I want to find answers and I will. No matter what, I understand more and more that the force is intrinsic, that we have a great power in our control and we don’t even understand how powerful we can be. I was amazed when I felt how powerful our brain it is. That the only limitations are our beliefs and knowledge. Our life, body, and brain are like an entire solar system that we need to research and discover. Take courage to start your self-discovery journey.

My 2017 books are:

  1. Carl Jung – Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Autobiography
  2. Steven Pressfield – The War of Art
  3. Coach Christopher Sommer – Building Te Gymnastic Body
  4. Arnold G. Nelson – Stretching Anatomy
  5. Bruce Lee – The Art of Expressing The Human Body
  6. Stephen R. Covey – The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. reading again
  7. Dorian Furtună – Homo Agressivus, Why wars never stops
